Pre & Post Cleaning Concrete 787mm New Zealand
Overview: Corrosion was identified by the Profiler software and reported upon, the authority involved decided to clean and re-profile the asset. The cleaning process was found to have removed a significant amount of material from the pipe wall.
Corrosion H2SO4 Concrete 635mm New Zealand
Overview: Serious corrosion was identified by the CCTV operator in inspection of this 635mm concrete pipe and as a result the 500m of trunk sewer was earmarked for US$350,000 of rehabilitation. Profiling was undertaken to validify the extent of the damage. It was found that the logged corrosion had only damaged an undocumented 20mm sacrificial layer was applied to the pipe wall prior to install.
